With those three Stretch Goals going out, our list of pending rewards is a little shorter. Our main reward is currently in print prep, where the Onyx Path team is finalizing the specs for the cover before initiating the test print and proofing process. The Terra Surge Storyguide Screen is being finalized for print. Our other stretch goals are still in the early stages of art direction or waiting for a break in the schedule to move forward. Bit by bit, moving forward.

Hello Animaniacs,
Welcome to the future! This is the first update of 2024, and hopefully we'll have a year full of fun updates and reward deliveries. I know we'll get a preview of the DLC supplemental PDF in our March update, so keep an eye out for that one!
I know the Monday Meeting Notes posted on Onyx Path's site yesterday noted that Trinity Continuum: Anima is now off to print! I'll continue to track that until we're ready to deliver it into backer's hands!
In the meantime, let's get to our regular reports...

No major changes since December, just our main book being off to print. It'll still take some time, so no immediate changes, but as we get closer to delivery I'll go over the order lockdown steps and how we confirm everyone's address in BackerKit before shipping.

CURRENTLY CROWDFUNDING
We’re all out of the traditionally-printed copies of several of our core rulebooks from previous crowdfunding campaigns. So we’re going back for more!
This should help us fund a new print run for:

Other campaigns: we like adding core rulebooks as add-ons to other campaigns (we did a bunch of those on this campaign too!), and this helps us keep doing that.

The books have all received minor edits to fix a few errors we’ve noticed over the years. This Friday's Onyx Pathcast will talk about these books and the possible minor edits that are being worked on. You can check out the campaign for one more week <here>.

DIFFERENCES IN PoD FORMATS
So, for those backers who pledged at the PDF reward tier, or those backers who will later be receiving the hardcover book but might be looking for a second copy for the table, there are two different versions of Print-On-Demand options available.
Standard Color uses a thick 70# white paper which has better page opacity. (that's "70 pound" for reference, but does not mean each page weighs 70 lbs!). Standard Heavyweight Color uses inkjet technology. (These are not the same inkjet printers you have at home - these are often as big or bigger than a car!) This option offers lower cost but the colors won't be as sharp or bright as a Premium Color book.
Premium Color uses the same 70# paper, but uses "Digital Color Print Engine Technology," which sounds super fancy and certainly costs a lot more, but I'll admit to not knowing the exact difference. This option offers superior color quality but is more expensive to produce, and has gotten even more expensive over the past year.

With the PDF release of Anima on DriveThruRPG, the next phase is getting the hardcover printed. It's currently being set up with Onyx Path's new printer overseas, so it'll still be some time before it's completed and delivered to their fulfillment partner, but we'll keep an eye on it and track as it moves forward. With the main book sorted, work will shift again to the Stretch Goal supplements and we'll start to see those advancing in the production phase in the new year.

FINAL DAYS
Never before has Creation known the perils of the Abyssal Exalted. They have emerged from the gloom of the Underworld as champions of death, sworn to the service of the Deathlords and the Neverborn. Each was offered the gift of the Bleak Exaltation at the moment of their own demise, and each chose to willingly become an agent of the apocalypse. Their motivations are as manifold as any others — they may seek destruction or domination, malice or justice, ancient secrets hidden and forbidden or sheer iron-willed survival.
In service to their lieges, these deathknights will grind the Underworld to heel and scour life from the face of Creation. Or…they might break from those oaths and set themselves up as death’s own Lawgivers, ruling empires of the dead as sages, arbiters, and reapers. All that can be known for sure is that with the Abyssal Exalted loosed upon the world, it will never be the same again.
November '23 Update

Hello Animaniacs,
As we head into the final weeks of November, it's time once again for our monthly update! Bits and pieces going on behind the scenes, but no major announcements yet.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
The changes and errata that you shared back when the Advance PDF came out have been incorporated into the TC: Anima PDF, and now the team is fixing up all of the "see Page XX" bits and finalizing the index. Once that's all done, a final version will be made available in your DriveThruRPG library and DTRPG will release it for sale to the general public. At that time, they'll likely also make it so you can print a version of the PDF as a print-on-demand hardcover - I'll get you discount order codes for those when that time comes, in case you want to order a printed version of the PDF.
While that's going on, the Onyx Path team will begin finalizing all of the files and begin setting up a print run with their print partners. While that's going on, the writing and development team can re-focus on the Stretch Goal rewards. There should be a lot of fun Anima rewards coming throughout 2024!
