Hello Animaniacs,
With so many of our projects in Art Direction, I've got some sneak peeks for you! With the different worlds of this setting, the artwork is gonna be action-packed and interesting, that's for sure!
Trinity Continuum Player's Guide
Before I get to our monthly chart, I just wanna highlight our current crowdfunding campaign, which is in the FINAL HOURS!
With just hours left, we've not only funded the book, but unlocked every Stretch Goal target for the campaign. So, at this point, I'm not looking for more backers to help us unlock any additional rewards.
BUT, after every campaign, I get a few dozen e-mails from fans who *just* missed it and are disappointed that they'll miss out on the draft manuscript or the bonus rewards. So I'm noting this one final time to ensure that this one hasn't sneaked past you.
Despite focusing on the contemporary Trinity Continuum, this book contains options rules (covering bits like momentum spends, static defense, and path advancement), new Gifts and Edges for Talents of any era, artifacts, vehicles, equipment, rules and structure for chases, conspiracies, and investigations, as well as guidelines for time travel, dimensional crossovers, planetary hopping and more) so you are certainly able to adapt bits from the book for your TC: Adventure!, TC: Aether, TC: Anima games.
OK, that's it. One final notice inviting you to join in if you haven't already. At this point, backers are able to read the entire draft manuscript, so you could be using these rules and systems in your game today, if you back now!
I'm gonna start posting a link back to the draft manuscript in these updates because it's been a while and folks are starting to misplace any downloaded copies. I'll keep this bit here in future updates until our backer PDF goes out.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://trinity-continuum-anima.backerkit.com/
You can read Onyx Path's most recent monthly summary, covering all projects and their status up to that point here: <March 2023 Project Status Summary>
You can find the weekly Monday Meeting blog updates <here>, which note any projects with status changes since the previous Month End summary. The project statuses listed are current as of last Monday, so do check it out each Monday night to see if anything may have progressed!
I will continue to post regular updates every month until the final Stretch Goal reward has gone out.

– Thu, Mar 23, 2023 at 12:04:11 PM
Hello Animaniacs,
We're sliding into the final week of March, and it's time for our regular monthly check in. While several of our projects are in the Art Direction phase, I've got another piece of art to sneak peek, and I've also got a bit of info about the next Trinity Continuum crowdfunding project coming next week. Let's jump in!
DRAFT MANUSCRIPT LINK
I'm gonna start posting a link back to the draft manuscript in these updates because it's been a while and folks are starting to misplace any downloaded copies. I'll keep this bit here in future updates until our backer PDF goes out.

The Trinity Continuum Player’s Guide is a guide to playing Talents from the contemporary era and beyond. While this book is focused on the core rulebook and the games played there, the advice and rules found in this book can be used in any of the Trinity Continuum eras where Talents (daredevils or squires) are found.
This book is focused on the modern-day setting presented in the Trinity Continuum Core Rulebook. Games played in the modern era can follow many different genres, from action-adventure stories to heists, murder mysteries, crime dramas, office dramas, and beyond. While these genres are all different in their focus, they share a unifying theme that the characters involved are experts who are highly competent at what they do.
This book contains new information for Talents such as expanded secondary Allegiances and new Gifts. It also contains tips on how to run interesting chases, heists, investigations, and more.
Chapter One: Allegiances contains expanded information for the minor Allegiances found in the Trinity Continuum Core Rulebook and Polyphemus, previously only printed in a Tasty Bit.
Chapter Two:Talents in Action contains information for chases, races, investigations, and heists. It includes new rules for how to run each of these in long-form, giving exciting scenery and environmental modifiers. We provide how-to guides for running car chases, how to run an investigation top to bottom, and special rules for heisting.
Chapter Three: Strange Travels contains five different unusual destinations that characters can travel to; alternate dimensions, time travel, planetary travel, the microverse, and oceanic exploration. It also includes advice for how to run such travel, and what the characters may encounter when they arrive at their destinations.
Chapter Four: New Mechanics has an array of new Gifts for Talents, some converted from other books and eras and others new and specific for this book. We include Edges, Paths, and Skill Tricks specific to traveling into worlds described in this book. It also includes new equipment and vehicles for use in various adventures.
Chapter Five: Storyguiding gives advice on how to use the Storypath system, along with presenting optional rules to make the game feel more streamlined at your table. It also contains information on how to use antagonists in Trinity Continuum along with suggestions on how to scale up antagonists for long-term play along with several new example antagonists.

Feb '23: Sneak Peek at Rich's Cover Direction, Monthly Check In
almost 2 years ago
– Wed, Feb 22, 2023 at 08:35:33 AM
Hello Animaniacs,
February is a quick month, and this will be a quick update. No major news yet, but I do have another artwork sneak peek for our Anima books, as well as a sneak peek at something Rich has been workign on.
DRAFT MANUSCRIPT LINK
I'm gonna start posting a link back to the draft manuscript in these updates because it's been a while and folks are starting to misplace any downloaded copies. I'll keep this bit here in future updates until our backer PDF goes out.
I'm a big fan of the branding and trade dress for the Trinity Continuum products, and love how they look side-by-side on my shelf. On the most recent Monday Meeting Blog, Rich shared his work on the cover direction for the next era coming to the Trinity Continuum.
Rich Says:
I’m working on the design and reference sketch for the cover of Trinity Continuum: Aegis, our upcoming game of playing during the collapse of the Bronze Age. As I do with these, I ask for notes from the devs that describe the major NPCs, character types, major places, antagonists, and events.
Then I start making very rough sketches to just generally get a feel for what sort of imagery I’m working with. We’re at that stage right now. Here’s a quick pic/peek of my sketch pages:
If you know the format for the TC books, you can probably guess that there’s a city way at the bottom, and something fiery/explosive at the top (and probably elsewhere, as well), and that we’ll have three PC type folks boldly striding towards the viewer. Beyond that, I haven’t really decided on placement or scenes. Now that I have these very rough ideas, I can generate how to work these moments into the cover – but even before that, I need to do more visual research!
I’ve got some existing physical places to look up. Bronze into Iron Age armor and weapons, Classical-era Grecian masks, robes, jewelry, what a ship like the Argo would look like comin’ atcha, and just how a certain famous advanced island civilization was described. So, not too much…
REWARDS STILL PENDING
No major changes in this quick month. The Anima artists are busy, moving back and forth on multiple assignments as it all slowly starts to come together.
